Ten Years of Impact

In February of 2009, Impact celebrated its 10 year anniversary. We are very proud of our first ten years as we have thrived despite three economic downturns. We have done this by developing lasting win-win relationships with our clients and offering innovative new products. During this time we have worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies including eight of the top fifty and four of the top ten. We are still working with several of our original clients ten years later. We would like to welcome our newest client, N.A.S.A.

We started by strictly offering Ropes Course Teambuilding programs. Since then we have added numerous innovative experiential programs such as Boatbuilding, Sailing, and Hawaiian Olympics. Recently, we have just introduced two more new programs; Market Simulation and Texas Cowboy Olympics. We have several more in the works that we will announce later this year.

We are also offering several professional development programs including Frontline Leadership Skills, Executive Leadership Skills, and Professional Presentation Skills. We now also offer Executive Coaching as several of our staff members are Certified Professional Coaches.

Not only have we made an impact on the client companies with whom we have worked, we have also contributed to the advancement of the training industry. Michael Pope, our President, served five years on the Board of Directors of the Houston Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development including one year as President.

We have also made an impact on the Houston community as a whole by working with many not-for-profit organizations including Safe and Drug Free Schools, The Council on Alcohol and Drugs, Families Under Urban & Social Attack, Sharpstown High School Leadership Magnet Program, Project Build, and University Preparatory Academy. In 2001, Impact constructed and donated a High Ropes Course to the Sharpstown High School Leadership Magnet Program.

We look forward to many more years of serving the training needs of our valued clients. We will continue to strive to stay on the cutting edge of training and development innovation by designing and implementing new and creative programs.
