Teambuilding Programs


Ropes

• A series of outdoor or indoor physical challenges
• These challenges, also known as “elements”, “simulations”, or “initiatives”.
• Constructed with cables, ropes, logs, and props attached to poles or trees.
• Range in height from ground level to 50 feet.
• Provide an opportunity for participants to observe their own behavior.
• Serve as a laboratory to rehearse new, more effective behaviors.
• Ensure physical, emotional, and social safety.
• Initiatives are sequenced and the Challenge by Choice philosophy is key.

 

Sailing

• Team participants will actually learn to sail.
• Teams are sub-divided into smaller crews who are then assigned a boat.
• Each crew must work cooperatively to navigate their vessel.
• The crews of the entire group of boats are challenged with a fleet goal.
• This challenge requires cooperation between the boats.
• This simulates the dynamics of communication between various departments in an organization.
• Each boat is accompanied by a U.S. Coastguard certified captain.

 

Boatbuilding

• Overall team is broken down into several smaller teams.
• Competition based on profitability.
• Each team is provided a budget for raw materials.
• Challenged to design, manufacture, and sail a boat manned by one team member.
• Collect targets in pool to produce revenue.

 

Market Simulation

• Overall team is broken down into several smaller teams.
• Team assigns members to different roles.
• Marketing, Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, & Sales
• Competition based on profitability.
• Each team is provided a budget for raw materials.
• Challenged to design, manufacture, and utilize an apparatus to capture targets.
• Targets are designated for different values of revenue.

 

Hawaiian Olympics

• Fun, friendly competition
• Hawaiian theme
• Overall group divided into smaller teams for competition
• Out of the ordinary events
• Field Events: Coconut Shot Put, Native Noodle Spear Toss, Catch a Shooting Starfish
• Relays: Hoola Hoop, Frisbee Toss, Land Surf
• Requires accuracy rather than brute strength

 

Texas Cowboy Olympics

• Fun, friendly completion
• Texas Cowboy theme
• Overall group divided into smaller teams for competition
• Ranch oriented events
• Conducted on operating Texas Horse Ranch
• Field Events & Relays
